c r e a t i o n s. creating. you.

"I'm always thinking about creating. My future starts when I wake up every morning . . . Every day I find something creative to do with my life." -Miles Davis

creating yourself. choices. options. possibilities. the chance to take a different path, to change course, to re-evaluate, to learn. how easy it is to get stuck in the same old same old patterns and rhythms.

we always have a choice in how we respond. the only person we can control is ourselves. & this relates to everything.

i, too, often feel too old when it comes to hanson. i actually saw girls completely dolled up, running to where the buses were after the show! that's fun but i was tired and there was homework waiting for me. i often wonder how many girls are there for the music or for the band. did you see that they played "yearbook" at the final show of the tour last night? what a lucky crowd! i enjoyed stephen kellogg and the sixers - they were not what i was expecting! i only wish i could have actually seen them because it sounded like they were having a lot of fun on stage (that's what i get for standing in the back of the balcony). i'm always wary of opening acts for hanson because everyone raves about them, even if they are terrible, since they're hanson's opening act. and i laughed about taylor being a preacher! he is, that's all he talks about. my friends and i joked about that at the last show here and some girls gave us a dirty look - but sometimes, i just want to say "taylor! play music!" i understand the purpose of the walks and, relating back to the crowd of girls clamoring to meet them, i think they shouldn't allow fans to take pictures on the walk. it seems as if it is just an excuse to walk a mile with hanson and get great close-up shots of the guys.

i sadly did not have a chance to see gallagher in osp! i certainly wish i could have though; i was not as willing to do things on my own last summer, otherwise i would have been in new york for a show. i looked into going to his solo show next month but if only it was an hour earlier, i could make it. here's to hoping he has another one in the not-so-distance future and i can make it! i enjoy the music of osp 2.0, as you call them, more than the music of osp 1.0, i think. of course, it changes depending on what i am listening to, haha.

and now i apologize for writing you a novella! and it is far too easy to get stuck in patterns where you do the same thing in and out but getting out of them is so exciting (i am doing that right now in my life!).
